My Santoro Love

Today brought the discovery of a very wonderful thing. A Santoro London shop has opened in Bath, Somerset! It’s the only shop they have in the world and having talked to all of the amazing staff there, I learnt they chose Bath because it’s the main city with a unique range of individual shops. And for those who haven’t heard of Santoro London (shame on you), you can see their wonderful collection here.

I was pretty overwhelmed upon walking in and for my first visit I just wanted to explore & take in all the lovely items in collections I recognised and some I didn’t. Gorjuss was there (obvs) and Mirabelle and Willow. (They are collections, not women). Where I could have very easily bought the entire shop on the spot and was a bit disspointed when the trolly I’d asked for, didn’t show up, I decided I’d be good and refrain from spending all my money, and bought a few little items, one of which even being a Christmas present!

As soon as my eyes fell upon this beautiful and colourful card holder, I knew I was going to have to get it. With a girl I personally think resembles me ever so slightly, when I’m at my most Autumnal, and with the feel of it potentially being my BTFF (best travel friend forever), it was pretty much deal done straight away. I’ve been looking for something like this for a while, and as I’m now travelling a bit more than I ever used to, this is going to be a perfect place to store train tickets. Plus its so cute and has all of my favourite colours, so really, I’m a very happy lady right now!

Having spent the past 3 months ferreting around each dark night for my single house key floating around somewhere in my big bag without anything attached to it, I realised there was no better time than to fix that one problem whilst I was in my now favourite shop! Poking around the assortment of keyrings in the little box they had on one of the shelves, I spotted some very pretty one, but settled on this little beauty above. It had a purple cat on it, I could hardly refuse! It was at this point a very charming young man who works at the shop, told me how nice my coat was and how warm I looked! How sweet! In fact all of the people who worked there today, were really friendly and chatty. And not in annoying Lush or Body Shop kind of way, in a much more relaxed, non pushy kind of way and one I really appreciated. It was nice to have that interaction where I could share my elation over the new and only shop, and equally lovely to be asked if I want to store bits I’d picked up behind the counter while I carry on browsing! This shop seems like it’s going to be a purrrrfect little addition to the historic, adorable streets of Bath and I’ve already promised to return as soon as my bank balance allows me!

Microfibre Cloth in a Tin – Night Owls

I smiled to myself when I first saw this. An owl  glasses cloth. The perfect little gift for my Granny who adores owls. It comes in a cute tin which would be just right to store little trinkets in if you wanted to keep the cloth separate. She’ll hopefully see the need for this despite the wonder of it being an owl design, and at least she has glasses!
I couldn’t help but grin my way around Santoro London shop this morning. It literally made my day to see this in my favourite city and my favourite street. It stands out beautifully and completely holds it’s own on a street lined with very influential stores such as Jolly’s, Waterstones and Vinegar Hill. It’s fresh, eclectic and entirely individual, which fits in totally with Bath’s personality and shopper desires.
If you find yourself in Bath at any time, I highly recommend visiting Santoro on Milsom Street and prepare to feast your eyes upon some of the most delightfully designed stock and beautiful creations, your eyes will have ever seen.
Until my next purchases chums.

Aww these look so cute, I love the card holder it’s beautiful! Which reminds me I need something like that for my rail card (which I also need to renew). Sadly Bath is a long way from me, but one day if I’m ever in Bath I will stop by. Thank goodness they have a website! I can easily see how you could spend a fortune in there, I’ve already fallen for the Watercolour Birds collection it’s so beautiful 🙂 x
