My Winter Playlist ❄️

I’m not even in the slightest bit sorry that my winter playlist doesn’t contain ONE Christmas song! I’m sick of it already. Everywhere is playing all the naff songs like Noddy sodding Holder and what not; where is Frank Sinatra and traditional carols? Every shop you go into now is blasting out some grainy, tacky version of Christmas and it’s making me leave in utter repulsion!

So I’m basically The Grinch. Sorry.

I like the swing and show tunes in the winter and imagining that I’m strolling along a red carpet in the West End, swinging my sequin clasp clutch in sparkly heels and a faux fur collar coat. A light flurry of snow falling from the skies, gracefully, as the city lights illuminate the snowflakes creating the illusion of a shattered disco ball, as a gentle ice white dust settles on the ground, like icing sugar sprinkled over warm cupcakes.

Ah, a gal can dream…

Ahh I couldn’t agree with you more Amy, I loath those awful 80s/90s xmas songs that get played every year, I’m just so happy I don’t work in retail anymore and can avoid shops as much as possible this time of year, yeay for online shopping!! 🙂 Ooh quite a list to work through there, but I will gradually have a listen, as there’s bound to be some I will like, I’ve spotted a few I know I will like already 🙂 xx
